Emotional Intelligence (EI): A Secret Weapon for Greater Success
People skilled in Emotional Intelligence (EI) outperform others, both personally and professionally. Leaders skilled in EI motivate and build better teams. Salespeople with higher EI develop more clients, have higher sales, and experience better customer retention. Almost any position in an organization will show better results with better EI.
The ability to understand the effect your emotions have on others, and manage yourself accordingly, is a competitive advantage. Yet most of us have don’t have a very accurate idea of how emotionally intelligent we are … or not.
Think of the very best person you’ve ever been around. Now think of the most difficult person you’ve ever been around. The difference between these two people is their degree of Emotional Intelligence. In this session, we’ll revisit those people in your past and better understand what made them so effective or difficult.
By the end of the session, you’ll have a deeper understanding of:
- 6 key factors of emotional intelligence and how it differs from personality
- How these factors contribute to your personal and organizational success
